GIVE YOUR WAY: HOW YOUR SUPPORT HELPS BUILD A FAIRER, HEALTHIER & SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday (2 December 2025) is a global movement that inspires millions of people to give to charity, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. There are so many different ways you can ‘Give Your Way’ to Wen, whether it’s through a one-off donation, volunteering your time, partnering with us or sponsoring our events.

All of these actions support feminist climate action that puts equity, community power and women’s voices at the heart of solutions.

Why your support matters

Climate impacts are not experienced equally. Women, children particularly from minoritised and racialised communities face the biggest burdens. Women face greater exposure to pollution, toxic chemicals and overheating, higher levels of food and energy insecurity, and increased unpaid care responsibilities. This is compounded by less decision-making power, and disproportionate health impacts.

Wen’s programmes respond directly to these inequalities – creating safer, greener spaces and healthier communities, amplifying women’s voices, and supporting those most affected by environmental and gender injustice.

Together we demonstrate that environmental justice, gender justice and racial justice are inseparable, and that women are shaping solutions every day.

Over 80% of Wen’s income goes to programmes and campaigns progressing environmental, gender and racial justice, including:

  • Climate Sisters, which nurtures feminist climate leadership and community power so women can shape local and national climate decisions.
  • Soil Sisters, which provides therapeutic horticulture in refuges – healing green spaces that help women rebuild after domestic violence.
  • And Real Nappies for London, which reduces waste by supporting parents to switch to reusable nappies.

In 2024/ 2025 Wen

  • Reached over 10,000 women with events and campaigns
  • Engaged over 10,000 people in toxic-free advocacy
  • Amplified 60 racialised and marginalised women’s voices in the climate space

Give Your Way – ways to support Wen

1. Become a regular donor

Regular giving powers long-term projects and helps us plan and grow. Even a small monthly gift provides steady support for grassroots programmes, training and advocacy.

2. Make a one-off donation

A single donation can fund a Soil Sisters session, buy a community growing kit, or fund much needed research into toxic chemicals in menstrual products.

3. Fundraise

Run a marathon, host a bake sale, or set up a fundraiser at work. Your creativity raises funds and spreads the word.

4. Business and corporate partnerships

Partnering with Wen brings mutual benefit. Consider cause-marketing, matched fundraising, or an employee volunteering day. Or get in touch with us to explore long term partnerships. We work with organisations to design partnerships that are purposeful, credible and transformative.

5. Sponsor a project, campaign or event

Sponsor a Soil Sisters expansion, a Climate Sisters cohort, or a toxic-free testing project. Sponsorship directly powers impact.

6. Volunteer your time and skills

Offer mentoring, communications support, gardening skills, workshop facilitation or pro-bono professional services.

7. Take action and amplify our work

Stay informed, share Wen content, campaigns and petitions. Follow us on social media, invite us to speak, and introduce us to potential partners.
