Building a world where women, communities and the planet flourish
Wen’s Organisational Strategy 2024-2029
Wen’s organisational strategy was developed by a participatory process, guided by an internal working group and involving the input of all staff members.
This will be a transformational period for Wen. We will continue to demonstrate new ways of doing things through our local projects, while boosting our national campaigning and influence, and applying what we know works through national projects.
Our priorities
- Building movements for sustainable, women and community-led systems, with a focus on a just food system
- Putting gender and intersectional equality at the heart of the green economy
- Informing and enabling access to safe, healthy, toxic free and sustainable ways of living
- Improving women’s lives through a deeper connection to nature and health
- Nurturing new leaders and amplifying women’s, racialised and marginalised voices for environmental justice
- Growing a healthy, values-led, participatory organisation
These priorities will be delivered through our strategy, which is based on four pillars upon which we structure our work:
1. Campaigning and Building Movements
2. Communications and Influence
3. Collaboration and Partnerships
4. Organisational Sustainability
