COLLABORATING WITH PARTNERS FOR GREATER IMPACT
At Wen, partnerships are at the heart of how we create change. We know that systemic problems require collective solutions and that real progress happens when we work together.
That’s why we build movements through coalitions and collaborations with organisations and networks that share our vision of environmental, gender, racial and social justice.
Throughout the year, we’ve worked in partnership to campaign for change and challenge the status quo. From grassroots groups to national alliances, our collaborative approach strengthens our impact.
We’ve been proud to partner with organisations such as Leadership Coaches, which supports Wen through the 1% for the Planet initiative.
“Wen is special. We love to see potential fulfilled especially for marginalised groups. We look forward to supporting Wen’s work in communities, from helping women set up community food growing spaces to challenging the environmental impact of period products.”
– Zoe Lewis, Director of Coaching, The Leadership Coaches
We established a collaboration with the Pesticide Collaboration and Pesticide Action Network to push for stronger protections against harmful pesticides and promote safer, more sustainable alternatives.
As part of a powerful chemicals NGO group – including CHEM Trust, Green Alliance, Breast Cancer UK, Wildlife and Countryside Link, and FIDRA – we collectively called for urgent regulatory reform on toxic chemicals. Together, we secured a meeting with Emma Hardy, Defra Minister, to raise the alarm about the risks posed to human health and the environment by chemical pollution, particularly for women and marginalised communities.
We have also established creative corporate partnerships with high profile brands including Damson Madder. Both partnerships took our mission to new but engaged audiences.
