Women are on the front line in the battle against the climate crisis and have crucial insights into how climate change manifests. Yet, they are not equally involved in decision making and solutions to address the climate crisis.

Wen, together with The Women’s Budget Group, WEDO and CEMVO Scotland, plan to launch a UK Feminist Green New Deal Set of Principles and a Feminist Green New Deal Policy Paper which was launched on the 20th May 2020. We are advocating for an intersectional feminist approach to the climate crisis.
A programme of events exploring environmental issues through a feminist lens. These popular forums take place quarterly and include speaker panel, Q&A session, networking, stalls and refreshments. Previous topics have included harmful chemicals, food, climate change, periods and air quality.
Women’s Voices is a paid internship programme intended to increase the diversity of voices in the environmental movement. The programme hopes to bring a greater diversity of voices in to the environmental mainstream. It also aims to increase the involvement of under-represented groups – particularly Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) women- in environmental forums.
