We are delighted to welcome Judy Ling Wong to Women’s Environmental Network as our newest Ambassador.
Judy joins Caroline Lucas, Green Party Co-Leader and MP, Juliet Davenport, Founder and CEO of Good Energy, Penney Poyzer, Foodshare, Josephine Fairley, Founder of organic chocolate company Green & Blacks and Maria Adebowale, Founding Director of Living Space Project. WEN Ambassadors are vital in supporting and championing women's voices across the environmental movement.
Judy Ling Wong, painter, poet and environmentalist is best known as the Honorary President of Black Environment Network (BEN). For 27 years she was the UK Director of BEN, with an international reputation as the pioneer and creator of the field of multi-cultural participation in the built and natural environment. Under her leadership, BEN worked across diverse sectors to engage citizens in the context of sustainable development, integrating social, cultural and environmental concerns.

More recently, Judy is a founding trustee of the National Park City Foundation and is a member of the “Campaign to make London a National Park City” Steering Group. The campaign’s vision is of a city where people and nature are better connected with high-quality green spaces, clean air and affordable green homes. This fantastic campaign is seeking Londoners support and WEN are proud to have committed their support to the project.
