Midwives Sue Williams and Sinead Saunders highlighted issues of
particular interest to hospitals in a case study session.
 

Pauline Brown and Becca Jiggins generated a lively discussion on issues surrounding the provision
of a community nappy laundry service in one of the afternoon case studies.
 

Sue Doughty, Liberal Democrat Spokesperson on the Environment gave the keynote speech where she highlighted the role of health professionals.

"Extended choice through the advice of health professionals is vital. I would particularly like to see promotion of real nappies extended to Sure Start to make the option of real nappies available to as many parents as possible."

 

Maeve Murphy, WEN chaired the judging panel for the WEN Real Nappy Awards 2004 with
Stephen Didsbury, Waste and Recycling Manager, London Borough of Bexley, Jancis Vaughan,
