Culture Kitchen is the annual celebration of the Taste of a Better Future Network – WEN’s local food project. This year it was hosted in Manchester by Debdale Eco Centre.

Culture Kitchen offers a unique opportunity for growers, their families and friends to come together. Food from growing sites is brought to the event and prepared by participants for all to share in this global locally-grown feast. Throughout the day there are opportunities to participate in recycling and food art, learn about campaigns, improve composting and other skills, be inspired by local food projects and meet other growers. The event is open to all with a passion for food – the growing, cooking, eating and celebrating.
