| By becoming a WEN member you have the opportunity to get actively involved with our work. WEN members and affiliates receive our quarterly newsletter, WENnews, plus four back issues and a sample set of briefings. Joining also entitles you to some discounts, information about the campaigns you are interested in, and the chance to get involved in local groups. |

Why not organise a cookery evening, dinner party or poetry reading and ask your friends to pay an entrance fee or give a donation to WEN? We can help
you with publicity, give you ideas and send you materials about our work.

Sponsorship
You may also want to take part in a sponsored event for WEN? If you like running, why not run a marathon or half-marathon? If running is not your thing, what about a sponsored walk, cycle or climb? There are many opportunities and we would love to help you find the event that is right for you. To make it easy for you to raise the required sponsorship, WEN has teamed up with JustGiving. Creating your fundraising page with Just Giving is fast and easy and you can e-mail the address of your page to everyone you know and start collecting donations.
Celebrations
Do you have a birthday or anniversary coming up or maybe a wedding or other big day? If you do, have you thought about your gifts? Are you keen not to receive any unwanted gifts or extra stuff to fill up your shelves? Would you rather not create any extra waste through packaging and wrapping?
