is fairly broad, the WEN membership reflects a wide range of interests

up and lifestyle changes.

The Citizens Clearinghouse for Hazardous Waste (CCHW) was founded
by the community activists to campaign against Love Canal. CHEJ
believes in environmental justice, the principle that people have
the right to a clean and healthy environment regardless of their
race or economic standing. The Center believes the most effective
way to win environmental justice is from the bottom up through
community organising and empowerment.
The
Climate Alliance
A partnership between 1,300 European cities and indigenous rainforest
peoples. Member cities seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions,
notably from energy and transport use, abstain from
procuring tropical timber derived from destructive logging, and
co-operate with the indigenous partners to conserve the rainforests.
Climate for Change project looked at achieving gender balance
in climate protection work.
