Funding:

Dumfries and Galloway Waste Disposal/Recycling/Agenda 21(Green Teams) budgets.

Promotional leaflets have been produced and issued for the past five years. These are made available at doctor's surgeries, health centres, pre and post natal clinics, other public offices/libraries etc and given to midwives and other health professionals. Information is also available on the Dumfries and Galloway Council website: www.dumgal.gov.uk.

Achievments:

Local promotion of the use of reusable nappies and public awareness of groups such as Women's Environmental Network, The Real Nappy Association, The Association of Radical Midwives, etc.
